I’m back, beloved blog, with at least one update monthly. If you’re interested, you may have it delivered via email (which also enters you into a monthly giveaway!) or trusty ol’ RSS.
Art

This page of Art Confetti was my favorite thing i drew this month. #TagYourself, i’m the little black frog perched on the sinking tombstone. Here are a few more:

News
Already happened:
- I livestreamed a drawing on July 18th (so far this is a once-a-month thing, we’ll see how it goes)
- I got discounts and free shipping on fancy new ink from Ferris Wheel Press by doing a group buy with some other artists
- Started my newsletter/monthly update post on this blog!
Upcoming:
- My art will be in the Worldcon 2025 Art Show next month; i will… be nearby, probably, but sketching pigeons on the pier while i cram dim sum into my face and absolutely not indoors packed into a crowd of humans
- I donated six copies of No Keys to the first St. John’s Comic Arts Festival! They’ll be available in September
Pet Tax

There’s a reason we refer to Cedar as “defective mini-cow.”

By contrast, look at our dainty little supermodel, sashaying through the sunset in his Martha Stewart hoodie. (I got it secondhand and didn’t look at the brand until later, lol, and of course it’s the only jacket he likes.)

Anecdote
My partner left his FB open when he went to work, so i helped Luci update it for him:

Newsletter Giveaway
This is the first month, so there’s no one signed up to my newsletter yet, and therefore, no one to win the giveaway. We’ll see what happens in August?
Merch
I added an activism sticker tier to my subscriptions called Boat-Flipping Orcas. I need ten subscribers or i won’t be able to keep it (i’m losing money on it, and ten folks is when i break even). I’ll give it through December, knock on wood.
If you become an Orca, for $8/month i’ll send you three 2-3″ vinyl weather-resistant stickers each month that say fuck you to fascism and show support for the vulnerable members of your community. And you obviously definitely really shouldn’t put them up in public on light poles, electrical access panels, the backs of street signs, parking meters, bus stops, outdoor pipes, or Teslas.
I aim for a ratio of 1 aggro sticker to 2 supportive stickers.

Right now, becoming a Boat-Flipping Orca is available at Patreon, Ko-fi, and Buy Me A Coffee, if you have a favorite among those.
If you only want one month’s worth, you can use PayPal.me (well, and Ko-fi or Buy Me A Coffee) to just send $8 and use the note to tell me what it’s for and i’ll send you 3 stickers. Don’t forget to give me a mailing address!
Anyway, even if the activism stickers aren’t for you, be sure to tell someone in your life who is angry and full of love. ❥
