I don’t know why i am still doing a monthly update, since my site isn’t live yet lol, which means the giveaway isn’t live because no one can sign up. When this does go live, you can get these monthly updates delivered via email (which also enters you into a monthly giveaway!) or by trusty ol’ RSS.

I spent most of this month drawing things i can’t share yet. So… here’s more Art Confetti™. The Astrobright paper continues to fascinate me in person but doesn’t scan well, lol, hence the adjusted colors:

News
- I was sick for a week, which annoyed me, because i planned to be sick for a week in October (i’m always sick for 5-7 days after getting my flu vax and COVID booster). I’ve been playing catch-up all month
- I’m not the only one! Cedar went to the vet twice because of [gross symptoms no one wants to hear], but he got some antibiotics and probiotics, and it seemed to clear everything up
- A mechanic gave the rustbucket’s vroom-vroom parts a thumbs up, but i am still on the fence about keeping it. It turns out the living space part is a bigger disaster than i realized. I’m hoping my parents’ friend will give me a better idea of what i’d be getting into
- I have two novels coming in from a repeat client, and i’m so excited!
Pet Tax
The only time it’s cool enough to play is in the morning before the sun comes over the house next door, so they get their zoomies out early.
Anecdote
When i was in junior high, which was roughly in the Cretaceous Period, it was difficult to find non-natural-colors of hair dye. (When i wanted my hair a candy-apple red, my mom gave up looking in stores and went to a salon, where the woman admitted she could do that to my hair, but she wouldn’t. Seriously, different times, haha!)
Anyway, long before my best friend and i figured out where we could go to buy home bleach or rainbow dyes, we settled for dyeing just our eyebrows using food coloring.
(Yes, there are photos. Oh, did they not show up? How straaange. WordPress, it must be a WordPress issue. Disappointing. I guess you’ll just have to imagine it.)
