Yes, this is my professional site, and yeah, usually i keep “politics” out of it. You know, when politics means “How much funding should we allocate to federal lands this year?” or “Should we legalize the mary-jah-wanna?” What’s going on right now in the U.S.A. is not politics, it’s a surge of illegal civil rights violations targeting vulnerable members of our communities, and being silent is being complicit.

When people are being abducted by masked armed government agents and held without counsel in inhuman conditions, the very least i can do is explain why i’m not using Facebook.
